Introduction

█ Students—Inspiring with Multiple Intelligences

Xindian Elementary School is located by Bitan Scenic Area, surrounded by wide variety of wildlife and natural resources. We offer classes designed for every students, including gifted program and those with special needs. We also have clubs and school teams so students can explore to different interests and show their talents in every aspects.

█ Teachers—Learning with Teaching Communities

Our Teachers care for students and enjoy teaching. They develop teaching skills by attending workshops and practicing them in their classes. Teachers organize communities to share their learnings and lesson plans. They also invite fellow teachers to join in classes so they learn from observations, dialogues and make changes together.

█ Curriculum—Featuring Humanities and Technology

We develop a school-based curriculum that emphasizes on geography, history and humanities of surrounding areas. Students are able to gain more sights of the neighborhood and love our hometown.  

We also have many courses introduce technology to students, including computer programs and programing languages. Students use them to control a robot, fly an aerial camera, and design a RPG game. They also shoot and edit a film to tell their stories. We hope students can use the technology to create and learn.

█ Environment—Interacting between Human and Facility

Our school is built with facilities for students to learn and play. The classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, tablets, notebooks so teachers can easily expand their teaching materials and explore students with world of technology for learning. We also have a large playground with basketball courts, school gardens, a swimming pool, an auditorium, two libraries, two computer labs, an AIOT classroom, so students are learning in a friendly and safe environment.

█ Resources—Supporting from Community and Local Sponsors

Xindian Elementary was founded in 1898. We have fostered many successful people and received many supports from the community. Thanks for those donations and scholarships, we are able to continue providing good education for children, and students are honored by their good works.

We continue inviting volunteers and groups of specialties to school so students benefit from their help and are able to learn by doing.
